본 연구는 국제음운기호 IPA (International Phonetic Alphabetic)
Font 개발에 관한 연구로, IPA사용자가 손쉽게 키보드를 통한 입력이 가능하게 하고자
좌판의 배열 및 사용빈도에 따른 음운기호의 구룹화에 관한 연구이다. 이 시기에 개발된
font는 LAPHOLIA, API89, GMaltais, Gbanzili등이다. |

본 연구는 아프리카 중앙에 아직 존재하고 있는 Bantu語族의 500여 언어(구어로만
존재)들에 관한 멀티미디어 데이타베이스를 구축을 목적으로 시작되었다.이 Project중
SIR는 LAPHOLIA와의 공동연구로 다음 모듈을 개발하였다.
- Atlas Linguistique Fang / Fang의 언어학 Atlas :
Bantu어족에 속한 Fang언어의 어휘사전구축 및 Fang 어원과 어휘발달에 관한 멀티미디어자료를
데이타베이스화 하였다. HyperCard, Carto 2D, Signalyze, C언어로
개발.
- Base de donn es Proto-Bantu / Proto-Bantu 데이타베이스
:
1948년 M. Guthrie에 의해 재현된 Proto언어인 Proto-bantu의 사전구축.
- Singe Multim dia / 포유류 멀티미디어 데이타베이스 :
본 데이타베이스는, 비교언어학적 연구를 위한 멀티미디어 도구로써, 아프리카에 생존하고
있는 원숭이과의 모든 포유류들의 멀티미디어 자료와 그에 직-간접적으로 관련된 용어들(Bantu어족의
500여 언어들에 속하는 모든 용어)로 구축된 멀티미디어 데이타베이스이다. |

프로그래밍 C 언어로 구현된 이 프로그램은 자연언어 자동처리에 있어서 가장 기본단계인
형태소분석의 일환으로, 구문분석의 성공여부를 가늠하는, 용언형태소인식 프로그램이다.
본 프로그램은 6500개의 원형동사의 모든 어미를 인식하는 프로그램으로써, 프로그래밍
언어C을 이용하여 구현했다. |

본 프로그램은 HyperTalk와 C언어를 이용하여 구현된 단문분석기이다.
A.P.S.는 형태소분석에서 구문분석까지 6개의 모듈(전처리과정, 형태소분석, 어휘-문법정보획득,
애매성처리, 문장구성체추출, 구문분석)과 5개의 데이타베이스(어근사전, 어미유형사전,
어휘-문법사전, 애매성처리용 heuristic 지식사전, 문장구성조직사전)로 구성되었으며,
주어진 단문의 구문트리를 그 분석결과로 제공한다. |

홈 쇼핑과 같은 다양한 고급 데이터베이스 서비스의 개발에 있어서 핵심 소프트웨어로 사용될
멀티미디어 데이터베이스 관리 시스템 기술 개발에 있다. |
